I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “renewing”.

1Sa 20:2 And he said unto him, God forbid;
thou shalt not die:
behold, my father will do nothing either great or small,
but that he will shew it me:
and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.

Amo 2:7 That pant after the dust of the earth
on the head of the poor,
and turn aside the way of the meek:
and a man and his father will go in
unto the same maid,
to profane my holy name:
