I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “exercised”.

Ecclesiastes 1:13   And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom
concerning all things that are done under heaven:
this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.

Ecclesiastes 3:10   I have seen the travail, which God hath given
to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

Ezekiel 22:29   The people of the land have used oppression,
and exercised robbery,
and have vexed the poor and needy:
yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

Hebrews 5:14   But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age,
even those who by reason of use have their senses
exercised to discern both good and evil.
