I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “evil for good”.

Psalms 38:20 They also that render evil for good
are mine adversaries;
because I follow
the thing that good is.

Isaiah 5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good,
and good evil;
that put darkness for light,
and light for darkness;
that put bitter for sweet,
and sweet for bitter!
