I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “enemies of”.

1Sa 20:15 But also thou shalt not cut off thy kindness
from my house for ever:
no, not when the LORD hath cut off
the enemies of David every one from the face of the earth.

1Sa 25:22 So and more also do God unto the enemies of David,
if I leave of all that pertain to him
by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

1Sa 29:8 And David said unto Achish, But what have I done?
and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as
I have been with thee unto this day,
that I may not go fight against
the enemies of my lord the king?

1Sa 30:26 And when David came to Ziklag,
he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah,
even to his friends, saying,
Behold a present for you of the spoil
of the enemies of the LORD;

2Sa 12:14 Howbeit, because by this deed
thou hast given great occasion
to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme,

and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs:
they shall consume;
into smoke shall they consume away.
