I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Ministry”
Num 4:12 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry,
wherewith they minister in the sanctuary,
and put them in a cloth of blue,
and cover them with a covering of badgers‘ skins,
and shall put them on a bar:
4:13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar,
and spread a purple cloth thereon:
4:14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof,
wherewith they minister about it,
even the censers,
the fleshhooks,
and the shovels,
and the basons,
all the vessels of the altar;
and they shall spread upon it
a covering of badgers‘ skins,
and put to the staves of it.
Num 4:47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old,
every one that came to do the service of the ministry,
and the service of the burden
in the tabernacle of the congregation,
4:48 Even those that were numbered of them,
were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
2Ch 7:6 And the priests waited on their offices:
the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD,
which David the king had made to praise the LORD,
because his mercy endureth for ever,
when David praised by their ministry;
and the priests sounded trumpets before them,
and all Israel stood.
Hos 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets,
and I have multiplied visions,
and used similitudes,
by the ministry of the prophets.
Act 1:17 For he was numbered with us,
and had obtained part of this ministry.
Act 1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship,
from which Judas by transgression fell,
that he might go to his own place.
Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world,
I kept them in thy name:
those that thou gavest me I have kept,
and none of them is lost,
but the son of perdition;
that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Act 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer,
and to the ministry of the word.
Act 12:25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem,
when they had fulfilled their ministry,
and took with them John,
whose surname was Mark.
Act 20:24 But none of these things move me,
neither count I my life dear unto myself,
so that I might finish my course with joy,
and the ministry,
which I have received of the Lord Jesus,
to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
Act 21:19 And when he had saluted them,
he declared particularly
what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry.
Rom 12:7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering:
or he that teacheth, on teaching;
12:8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation:
he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity;
he that ruleth, with diligence;
he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
1Co 16:15 I beseech you, brethren,
(ye know the house of Stephanas,
that it is the firstfruits of Achaia,
and that they have addicted themselves
to the ministry of the saints,)
16:16 That ye submit yourselves unto such,
and to every one that helpeth with us,
and laboureth.
2Co 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry,
as we have received mercy,
we faint not;
4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth
commending ourselves to every man’s conscience
in the sight of God.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ,
he is a new creature:
old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
2Co 5:18 And all things are of God,
who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them;
and hath committed unto us
the word of reconciliation.
2Co 6:3 Giving no offence in any thing,
that the ministry be not blamed:
6:4 But in all things approving ourselves
as the ministers of God,
in much patience,
in afflictions,
in necessities,
in distresses,
6:5 In stripes,
in imprisonments,
in tumults,
in labours,
in watchings,
in fastings;
6:6 By pureness,
by knowledge,
by longsuffering,
by kindness,
by the Holy Ghost,
by love unfeigned,
6:7 By the word of truth,
by the power of God,
by the armour of righteousness
on the right hand and on the left,
6:8 By honour and dishonour,
by evil report and good report:
as deceivers, and yet true;
6:9 As unknown, and yet well known;
as dying, and, behold, we live;
as chastened, and not killed;
6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing;
as poor, yet making many rich;
as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
Eph 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints,
for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ:
4:13 And he gave some, apostles;
and some, prophets;
and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers;
4:14 That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro,
and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men,
and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
4:15 But speaking the truth in love,
may grow up into him in all things,
which is the head, even Christ:
4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together
and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working
in the measure of every part,
maketh increase of the body
unto the edifying of itself in love.
Col 4:17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry
which thou hast received in the Lord,
that thou fulfil it.
1Ti 1:12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord,
who hath enabled me,
for that he counted me faithful,
putting me into the ministry;
2Ti 4:5 But watch thou in all things,
endure afflictions,
do the work of an evangelist,
make full proof of thy ministry.
2Ti 4:11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark,
and bring him with thee:
for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
4:12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
4:13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus,
when thou comest, bring with thee,
and the books,
but especially the parchments.
4:14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil:
the Lord reward him according to his works:
4:15 Of whom be thou ware also;
for he hath greatly withstood our words.
4:16 At my first answer no man stood with me,
but all men forsook me:
I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.
4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me,
and strengthened me;
that by me the preaching might be fully known,
and that all the Gentiles might hear:
and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
4:18 And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work,
and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom:
to whom be glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
Heb 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry,
by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant,
which was established upon better promises.
Heb 9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood
both the tabernacle,
and all the vessels of the ministry.
9:22 And almost all things are by the law
purged with blood;
and without shedding of blood is no remission.
