I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “draw back”.

Lamentations 2:3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel:
he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy,
and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire,
which devoureth round about.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith:
but if any man draw back,
my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them
