yet not distressed;

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of distressed .

Gen 32:7 Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed:
and he divided the people that was with him,
and the flocks,
and herds,
and the camels, into two bands;
Num 22:3 And Moab was sore afraid of the people,
because they were many:
and Moab was distressed
because of the children of Israel.
Jdg 2:15 Whithersoever they went out,
the hand of the LORD was against them for evil,
as the LORD had said,
and as the LORD had sworn unto them:
and they were greatly distressed.
Jdg 10:9 Moreover the children of Ammon
passed over Jordan to fight also against Judah,
and against Benjamin,
and against the house of Ephraim;
so that Israel was sore distressed.
1Sa 13:6 When the men of Israel saw
that they were in a strait,
(for the people were distressed,
then the people did hide themselves in caves,
and in thickets,
and in rocks,
and in high places,
and in pits.
1Sa 14:24 And the men of Israel were distressed that day:
for Saul had adjured the people, saying,
Cursed be the man that eateth
any food until evening,
that I may be avenged on mine enemies.
So none of the people tasted any food.
1Sa 28:15 And Samuel said to Saul,
Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up?
And Saul answered, I am sore distressed;
for the Philistines make war against me,
and God is departed from me,
and answereth me no more,
neither by prophets,
nor by dreams:
therefore I have called thee,
that thou mayest make known unto me
what I shall do.
1Sa 30:6 And David was greatly distressed;
for the people spake of stoning him,
because the soul of all the people was grieved,
every man for his sons and for his daughters:
but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
2Sa 1:26 I am distressed for thee,
my brother Jonathan:
very pleasant hast thou been unto me:
thy love to me was wonderful,
passing the love of women.
2Ch 28:20 And Tilgathpilneser
king of Assyria came unto him,
and distressed him,
but strengthened him not.
2Co 4:8 We are troubled on every side,
yet not distressed;
we are perplexed,
but not in despair;

9. Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10. Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
