I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Devour” from the Old Testament.

Gen 31:15 Are we not counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us,
and hath quite devoured also our money.

Gen 37:20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him,
and cast him into some pit,
and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him:
and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

Gen 37:33 And he knew it, and said,  It is my son’s coat;
