I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Cover” from the prophets of Old Testament (KJV).
Isaiah 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings;
with twain he covered his face,
and with twain he covered his feet,
and with twain he did fly.
Isaiah 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain:
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD,
as the waters cover the sea.
Isaiah 14:11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave,
and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee,
and the worms cover thee.
Isaiah 22:8 And he discovered the covering of Judah,
and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.

Malachi 2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away:
for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts:
therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.
