Commend – from the Holy Bible (KJV)

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Commend”

Gen 12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her,
and commended her before Pharaoh:
and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.

Pro 12:8 A man shall be commended
according to his wisdom:
but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Ecc 8:15 Then I commended mirth,
because a man hath no better thing under the sun,
than to eat,
and to drink,
and to be merry:
for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life,
which God giveth him under the sun.

Luk 16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward,
because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation
wiser than the children of light.

Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father,
into thy hands I commend my spirit:
and having said thus,
he gave up the ghost.

Act 14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church,
and had prayed with fasting,
they commended them to the Lord,
on whom they believed.

Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God,
and to the word of his grace,
which is able to build you up,
and to give you an inheritance
among all them which are sanctified.

Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God,
what shall we say?
Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man)

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.

Rom 16:1 I commend unto you Phebe our sister,
which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

1Co 8:8 But meat commendeth us not to God:
for neither, if we eat,
are we the better;
neither, if we eat not,
are we the worse.

2Co 3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves?
or need we, as some  others,
epistles of commendation to you,
or  letters of commendation from you?

2Co 4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty,
not walking in craftiness,
nor handling the word of God deceitfully;
but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves
to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

2Co 5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you,
but give you occasion to glory on our behalf,
that ye may have somewhat to  answer them
which glory in appearance,
and not in heart.

2Co 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number,
or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves:
but they measuring themselves by themselves,
and comparing themselves among themselves,
are not wise.

2Co 10:18 For not he that commendeth himself is approved,
but whom the Lord commendeth.

2Co 12:11 I am become a fool in glorying;
ye have compelled me:
for I ought to have been commended of you:
for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles,
though I be nothing.
