I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “cold waters”.

Pro 25:25  As cold waters to a thirsty soul,
so is good news from a far country.

Jer 18:14  Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon
which cometh from the rock of the field?
or shall the cold flowing waters that
come from another place be forsaken?

Mat 10:42  And whosoever shall give to drink
unto one of these little ones
a cup of cold water only
in the name of a disciple,
verily I say unto you,
he shall in no wise lose his reward.
