I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Brother” from the Gospels (KJV).
Mat 4:18 And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren,
Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea:
for they were fishers.
Mat 4:21And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren,
James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,
in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets;
and he called them.
Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother
without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment:
and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council:
but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 5:23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar,
and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Mat 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way;
first be reconciled to thy brother,
and then come and offer thy gift.
Mat 7:3And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother‘s eye,
but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother,
Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye;
and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
Mat 7:5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
and then shalt thou see clearly
to cast out the mote out of thy brother‘s eye.
Mat 10:2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these;
The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother;
James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Mat 10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death,
and the father the child:
and the children shall rise up against their parents,
and cause them to be put to death.
Mat 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven,
the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Mat 14:3 For Herod had laid hold on John,
and bound him,
and put him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife.
Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter,
James, and John his brother,
and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
Mat 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee,
go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone:
if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
Mat 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord,
how oft shall my brother sin against me,
and I forgive him? till seven times?
Mat 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you,
if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.
Mat 22:24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children,
his brother shall marry his wife,
and raise up seed unto his brother.
Mat 22:25 Now there were with us seven brethren:
and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased,
and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:
Mar 1:16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee,
he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea:
for they were fishers.
Mar 1:19 And when he had gone a little further thence,
he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother,
who also were in the ship mending their nets.
Mar 3:17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James;
and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
Mar 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God,
the same is my brother,
and my sister,
and mother.
Mar 5:37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter,
and James,
and John the brother of James.
Mar 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James,
and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon?
and are not his sisters here with us?
And they were offended at him.
Mar 6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John,
and bound him in prison for Herodias’ sake, his brother Philip’s wife:
for he had married her.
Mar 6:18 For John had said unto Herod,
It is not lawful for thee to have thy brother‘s wife.

and leave his wife behind him,
and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife,

and the father the son;
and children shall rise up against their parents,
and shall cause them to be put to death.
Luk 3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar,
Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea,
and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee,
and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis,

Luk 3:19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip’s wife,
and for all the evils which Herod had done,
Luk 6:14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother,
James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
Luk 6:16 And Judas the brother of James,
and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.
Luk 6:41 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother‘s eye,
but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Luk 6:42 Either how canst thou say to thy brother,
Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye,
when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye,
and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother‘s eye.

that he divide the inheritance with me.

and thy father hath killed the fatted calf,
because he hath received him safe and sound.
Luk 15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad:
for this thy brother was dead,
and is alive again;
and was lost,
and is found.

If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him;
and if he repent, forgive him.

If any man’s brother die, having a wife,
