at the entry of the city,
at the coming in at the doors.

Pro 8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth me,
watching daily at my gates,
waiting at the posts of my doors.

Pro 14:19 The evil bow before the good;
and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

Pro 17:19 He loveth transgression that loveth strife:
and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction.

Pro 22:22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor:
neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:

Pro 24:7 Wisdom is too high for a fool:
he openeth not his mouth in the gate.

Pro 31:23 Her husband is known in the gates,
when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

Pro 31:31 Give her of the fruit of her hands;
and let her own works
praise her in the gates.

Son 7:4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory;
thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon,
by the gate of Bathrabbim:
thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon
which looketh toward Damascus.

Son 7:13 The mandrakes give a smell,
and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits,
new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Sara”.

Genesis 8:11. Now Abraham and Sarah were old
and well stricken in age;
and it ceased to be with Sarah
after the manner of women.

Rom 4:19 And being not weak in faith,
he considered not his own body now dead,
when he was about an hundred years old,
neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:
20. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;
but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21. And being fully persuaded that,
what he had promised,
he was able also to perform.
22. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Rom 9:9 For this is the word of promise,
At this time will I come,
and Sara shall have a son.

Heb 11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed,
and was delivered of a child when she was past age,
because she judged him faithful who had promised.

1Pe 3:6 Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord:
whose daughters ye are,
as long as ye do well,
and are not afraid with any amazement.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “our children”.

Gen 31:16 For all the riches which God hath taken from our father,
that is ours, and our children‘s:
now then, whatsoever God hath said unto thee, do.

Exo 17:3 And the people thirsted there for water;
and the people murmured against Moses,
and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt,
to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

Num 14:3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land,
to fall by the sword,
that our wives and our children should be a prey?
were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

Deu 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God:
but those things which are revealed
belong unto us and to our children for ever,
that we may do all the words of this law.

Jos 22:24 And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing,
saying, In time to come your children
might speak unto our children,
saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel?

Jos 22:25 For the LORD hath made Jordan a border between us and you,
ye children of Reuben and children of Gad;
ye have no part in the LORD:
so shall your children make our children
cease from fearing the LORD.

Jos 22:27 But that it may be a witness between us, and you,
and our generations after us,
that we might do the service of the LORD
before him with our burnt offerings,
and with our sacrifices,
and with our peace offerings;
that your children may not say to our children in time to come,
Ye have no part in the LORD.

Neh 5:5 Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren,
our children as their children:
and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons
and our daughters to be servants,
and some of our daughters are brought unto bondage already:
neither is it in our power to redeem them;
for other men have our lands and vineyards.

Mat 27:24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing,
but  that rather a tumult was made,
he took water,
and washed  his hands before the multitude, saying,
I am innocent of the blood of this just person:
see ye  to it.

Mat 27:25 Then answered all the people,
and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.
