I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “altar”.

Psa 26:6 I will wash mine hands in innocency:
so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

Psa 43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God,
unto God my exceeding joy:
yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

Psa 51:19 Then shalt thou be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
with burnt offering and whole burnt offering:
then shall they offer bullocks upon thine altar.

Psa 84:3 Yea, the sparrow hath found an house,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young, even thine altars,
O LORD of hosts, my King, and my God.

Psa 118:27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light:
bind the sacrifice with cords,
even unto the horns of the altar.

Isa 6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me,
having a live coal in his hand,
which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:

Isa 17:8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands,
neither shall respect that which his fingers have made,
either the groves, or the images.

Isa 19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD
in the midst of the land of Egypt,
and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

Isa 27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged;
and this is all the fruit to take away his sin;
when he maketh all the stones of the altar
as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder,
the groves and images shall not stand up.

Isa 36:7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God:
is it not he, whose high places
and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away,
and said to Judah and to Jerusalem,
Ye shall worship before this altar?

Isa 56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer:
their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
shall be accepted upon mine altar;
for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Isa 60:7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee,
the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee:
they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar,
and I will glorify the house of my glory.

Isa 65:3 A people that provoketh me to anger continually to my face;
that sacrificeth in gardens,
and burneth incense upon altars of brick;

Jer 11:13 For according to the number of thy cities were thy gods, O Judah;
and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem
have ye set up altars to that shameful thing,
even altars to burn incense unto Baal.

Jer 17:1 The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron,
and with the point of a diamond:
it is graven upon the table of their heart,
and upon the horns of your altars;

and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills.

Lam 2:7 The Lord hath cast off his altar,
he hath abhorred his sanctuary,
he hath given up into the hand of
the enemy the walls of her palaces;
they have made a noise in the house of the LORD,
as in the day of a solemn feast.

Eze 6:4 And your altars shall be desolate,
and your images shall be broken:
and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

Eze 6:5 And I will lay the dead carcases of
the children of Israel before their idols;
and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

Eze 6:6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste,
and the high places shall be desolate;
that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate,
and your idols may be broken and cease,
and your images may be cut down,
and your works may be abolished.

Eze 6:13 Then shall ye know that I am the LORD,
when their slain men shall be
among their idols round about their altars,
upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains,
and under every green tree,
and under every thick oak,
the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

Eze 8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man,
lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north.
So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north,
and behold northward at the gate of the altar
this image of jealousy in the entry.

Eze 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’S house,
and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD,
between the porch and the altar,
were about five and twenty men,
with their backs toward the temple of the LORD,
and their faces toward the east;
and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Eze 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate,
which lieth toward the north,
and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand;
and one man among them was clothed with linen,
with a writer’s inkhorn by his side:
and they went in,
and stood beside the brasen altar.

Eze 40:46 And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests,
the keepers of the charge of the altar:
these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi,
which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

Eze 40:47 So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long,
and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare;
and the altar that was before the house.

Eze 41:22 The altar of wood was three cubits high,
and the length thereof two cubits;
and the corners thereof,
and the length thereof,
and the walls thereof, were of wood:
and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.

Eze 43:13 And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits:
The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth;
even the bottom shall be a cubit,
and the breadth a cubit,
and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span:
and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

to offer burnt offerings thereon,
and to sprinkle blood thereon.

without blemish for a sin offering;
and they shall cleanse the altar,
as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

Eze 43:26 Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it;
and they shall consecrate themselves.

Eze 43:27 And when these days are expired, it shall be,
that upon the eighth day,
and so forward, the priests shall
make your burnt offerings upon the altar,
and your peace offerings;
and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 45:19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering,
and put it upon the posts of the house,
and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar,
and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court.

Eze 47:1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house;
and, behold, waters issued out
from under the threshold of the house eastward:
for the forefront of the house stood toward the east,
and the waters came down from under
from the right side of the house,
at the south side of the altar.

Hos 8:11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin,
altars shall be unto him to sin.

now shall they be found faulty:
he shall break down their altars,
he shall spoil their images.

the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed:
the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars;
and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us;

they sacrifice bullocks in Gilgal;
yea, their altars are as heaps
in the furrows of the fields.

Joe 1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests:
howl, ye ministers of the altar:
come, lie all night in sackcloth,
ye ministers of my God:
for the meat offering
and the drink offering is withholden
from the house of your God.

Joe 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD,
weep between the porch and the altar,
and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD,
and give not thine heritage to reproach,
that the heathen should rule over them:
wherefore should they say among the people,
Where is their God?

Amo 2:8 And they lay themselves down upon clothes
laid to pledge by every altar,
and they drink the wine of the condemned
in the house of their god.

Amo 3:14 That in the day that I shall visit
the transgressions of Israel upon him
I will also visit the altars of Bethel:
and the horns of the altar shall be cut off,
and fall to the ground.

Amo 9:1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar:
and he said, Smite the lintel of the door,
that the posts may shake:
and cut them in the head, all of them;
and I will slay the last of them with the sword:
he that fleeth of them shall not flee away,
and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

Zec 9:15 The LORD of hosts shall defend them;
and they shall devour,
and subdue with sling stones;
and they shall drink,
and make a noise as through wine;
and they shall be filled like bowls,
and as the corners of the altar.

Zec 14:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses,
HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD;
and the pots in the LORD’S house
shall be like the bowls before the altar.

Mal 1:7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar;
and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee?
In that ye say, The table of the LORD is contemptible.

Mal 1:10 Who is there even among you
that would shut the doors for nought?
neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought.
I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts,
neither will I accept an offering at your hand.

Mal 2:13 And this have ye done again,
covering the altar of the LORD with tears,
with weeping, and with crying out,
insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more,
or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity before their face:
should I be enquired of at all by them?

and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD;

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold,
I will kindle a fire in thee,
and it shall devour every green tree in thee,
and every dry tree:
the flaming flame shall not be quenched,

shall be burned therein.

to the men of Judah,
and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and unto all Israel, that are near,
and that are far off, through all the countries
whither thou hast driven them,
because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.

judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “partaker”.

then thou consentedst with him,
and hast been partaker with adulterers.

we would not have been partakers
with them in the blood of the prophets.

partakers of their spiritual things,
their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.

1Co 9:10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes?
For our sakes, no doubt, this is written:
that he that ploweth should plow in hope;
and that he that thresheth in hope
should be partaker of his hope.

Nevertheless we have not used this power;
but suffer all things,
lest we should hinder the gospel of Christ.

live of the things of the temple?

partakers of the altar?

and the cup of devils:
ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table,
and of the table of devils.

why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

2Co 1:7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing,
that as ye are partakers of the sufferings,
so shall ye be also of the consolation.

and of the same body,
and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

Eph 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Phi 1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all,
because I have you in my heart;
inasmuch as both in my bonds,
and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel,
ye all are partakers of my grace.

keep thyself pure.
