I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “beat…en…eth…est…”.

Exo 5:14 And the officers of the children of Israel,
which Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them,
were beaten, and demanded,
Wherefore have ye not fulfilled your task
in making brick both yesterday and to day, as heretofore?

Exo 5:16 There is no straw given unto thy servants,
and they say to us, Make brick:
and, behold, thy servants are beaten;
but the fault is in thine own people.

Exo 25:18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold,
