I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Astray”  from both the testaments.

they have forgotten their restingplace.

Eze 14:11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me,
neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions;
but that they may be my people,
and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.

Eze 44:10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me,

2Pe 2:15 Which have forsaken the right way,
and are gone astray,
following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor,
who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

16. But was rebuked for his iniquity:
the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice
forbad the madness of the prophet.
