I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Pain”
1Sa 4:19 And his daughter in law, Phinehas’ wife, was with child, near to be delivered:
and when she heard the tidings that the ark of God was taken,
and that her father in law and her husband were dead,
she bowed herself and travailed;
for her pains came upon her.

and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

and pain, as of a woman in travail.

it was too painful for me;

and the pains of hell gat hold upon me:
I found trouble and sorrow.

their faces shall be as flames.

pangs have taken hold upon me,

I was dismayed at the seeing of it.

so shall they be sorely pained at the report of Tyre.

so have we been in thy sight, O LORD.

we have been in pain,
we have as it were brought forth wind;
we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth;
neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.

she brought forth;
before her pain came,
she was delivered of a man child.

there shalt thou be delivered;
there the LORD shall redeem thee
from the hand of thine enemies.
