I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “admonish”.

Ecc 4:13 Better is a poor
and a wise child than an old
and foolish king,
who will no more be admonished.

Ecc 12:12 And further, by these, my son,
be admonished:
of making many books there is no end;
and much study is a weariness of the flesh.

Jer 42:19 The LORD hath said concerning you,
O ye remnant of Judah;
Go ye not into Egypt:
know certainly that
I have admonished you this day.

Act 27:9 Now when much time was spent,
and when sailing was now dangerous,
because the fast was now already past,
Paul admonished them,
