‘abase… … …’….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

AbaseI know both how to be abased,
and I know how to abound:
every where and in all things
I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry,
both to abound and to suffer need. – Philippians 4:12

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “abase…”.

Job 40:11 Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath:
and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

Isaiah 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me,
Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey,
when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him,
he will not be afraid of their voice,
nor abase himself for the noise of them:
so shall the LORD of hosts come down
to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

Ezekiel 21:26 Thus saith the Lord GOD;
Remove the diadem, and take off the crown:
this shall not be the same:
exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.

Daniel 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol
and honour the King of heaven,
all whose works are truth,
and his ways judgment:
and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.

Matthew 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased;
and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Luke 14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased;
and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Luke 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified
rather than the other:
for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased;
and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased,
and I know how to abound:
every where and in all things
I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry,
both to abound and to suffer need.
