A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother. – Pro 18:24

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “a friend”.

2Sa 13:3 But Amnon had a friend,
whose name was Jonadab,
the son of Shimeah David’s brother:
and Jonadab was a very subtil man.

Pro 17:17 A friend loveth at all times,
and a brother is born for adversity.

Pro 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Pro 19:6 Many will intreat the favour of the prince:
and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts.

Pro 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend;
but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
