I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ called“.

Genesis 1:5 And God called the light Day,
and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Genesis 1:8 And God called the firmament Heaven.
And the evening and the morning were the second day.

Jos 1:4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon
even unto the great river,
the river Euphrates,
all the land of the Hittites,
and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun,
shall be your coast.

Jos 5:4 And this is the cause why Joshua did circumcise:
All the people that came out of Egypt, that were males,
even all the men of war,
died in the wilderness by the way,
after they came out of Egypt.

Jdg 20:42 Therefore they turned their backs
before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness;
but the battle overtook them;
and them which came out of the cities
they destroyed in the midst of them.

Jdg 20:45 And they turned and fled
toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon:
and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men;
and pursued hard after them unto Gidom,
and slew two thousand men of them.
Jdg 20:47 But six hundred men turned and fled
to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon,
and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.
