I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ root of“.

Jdg 5:14 Out of Ephraim was there
a root of them against Amalek;
after thee, Benjamin,
among thy people;
out of Machir came down governors,
and out of Zebulun they that handle
the pen of the writer.

Job 19:28 But ye should say,
Why persecute we him,
seeing the root of the matter is found in me?
