I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “giving thanks“

Ezr 3:11 And they sang together
by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD;
because he is good,
for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel.
And all the people shouted with a great shout,
when they praised the LORD,
because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.

Eph 5:20 Giving thanks always
for all things unto God
and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Col 1:12 Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

Col 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,

Heb 13:15 By him therefore let us offer
