I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “books”.

Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine,
the LORD appeared to Abram,
and said unto him,
I am the Almighty God;
walk before me,
and be thou perfect.
1Sa 2:30 Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith,
I said indeed that thy house,
and the house of thy father,
should walk before me for ever:
but now the LORD saith,
Be it far from me;
for them that honour me
I will honour,
and they that despise me
shall be lightly esteemed.
1Sa 2:35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest,
that shall do according to that
which is in mine heart
and in my mind:
and I will build him a sure house;
and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.
1Ki 2:4 That the LORD may continue his word
which he spake concerning me, saying,
If thy children take heed to their way,
to walk before me in truth with all their heart
and with all their soul,
there shall not fail thee (said he)
a man on the throne of Israel.

a man in my sight

so that thy children take heed to their way,
that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

as David thy father walked,
in integrity of heart,
and in uprightness,
to do according to all
that I have commanded thee,
and wilt keep my statutes
and my judgments:
2Ch 6:14 And said, O LORD God of Israel,

which keepest covenant,
and shewest mercy unto thy servants,
that walk before thee with all their hearts:
