Neglect not the gift that is in thee,
which was given thee by prophecy,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “neglect”.

Mat 18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them,
tell it unto the church:
but if he neglect to hear the church,
let him be unto thee
as an heathen man and a publican.

Act 6:1 And in those days,
when the number of the disciples was multiplied,
there arose a murmuring of the Grecians
against the Hebrews,
because their widows were neglected in
the daily ministration.

Col 2:23 Which things have indeed
a shew of wisdom in will worship,
and humility,
and neglecting of the body;
not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
