I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “if he turn“.

Psa 7:11. God judgeth the righteous,
and God is angry with the wicked every day.

Psa 7:12 If he turn not,
he will whet his sword;
he hath bent his bow,
and made it ready.

13. He hath also prepared for him
the instruments of death;
he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

Eze 33:14 Again, when I say unto the wicked,
Thou shalt surely die;
if he turn from his sin,
and do that which is lawful and right;

15. If the wicked restore the pledge,
give again that he had robbed,
walk in the statutes of life,
without committing iniquity;
he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16. None of his sins that he hath committed
shall be mentioned unto him:
he hath done that which is lawful
and right; he shall surely live.
