I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “wilderness”.

Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness,
and destroyed the cities thereof;
that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Isa 16:1 Send ye the lamb
to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness,
unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

Isa 16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish,
and the vine of Sibmah:
the lords of the heathen have broken down
the principal plants thereof,
they are come even unto Jazer,
they wandered through the wilderness:
her branches are stretched out,
they are gone over the sea.

Isa 23:13 Behold the land of the Chaldeans;
this people was not,
till the Assyrian founded it for them
that dwell in the wilderness:
they set up the towers thereof,
they raised up the palaces thereof;

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “to repentance”.

Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth,
I will have mercy,
and not sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.

Mar 2:17 When Jesus heard it,
he saith unto them,
They that are whole have no need of the physician,
but they that are sick:
I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.

Luk 5:32 I came not to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.

Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness
