I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “the bridegroom”.

Isa 62:5 For as a young man marrieth a virgin,
so shall thy sons marry thee:
and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride,
so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Jer 7:34 Then will I cause to cease
from the cities of Judah,
and from the streets of Jerusalem,
the voice of mirth,
and the voice of gladness,
the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride:
for the land shall be desolate.

Jer 16:9 For thus saith the LORD of hosts,
the God of Israel;
Behold, I will cause to cease out
of this place in your eyes,
and in your days, the voice of mirth,
and the voice of gladness,
the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride.

Jer 25:10 Moreover I will take
from them the voice of mirth,
and the voice of gladness,
the voice of the bridegroom,
and the voice of the bride,
the sound of the millstones,
and the light of the candle.

Jer 33:11 The voice of joy,
and the voice of gladness,
the voice of the bridegroom,

the voice of them that shall say,

Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast,

Joh 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted
the water that was made wine,
and knew not whence it was:
(but the servants which drew the water knew;)
the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

Joh 3:29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom:
but the friend of the bridegroom,
which standeth and heareth him,
rejoiceth greatly
because of the bridegroom‘s voice:
this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine
no more at all in thee;
and the voice of the bridegroom
and of the bride shall be
heard no more at all in thee:
for thy merchants were the great men of the earth;
for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
