I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ It is better”.

Gen 29:19 And Laban said,
It is better that I give her to thee,
than that I should give her
to another man:
abide with me.

2Sa 18:3 But the people answered,
Thou shalt not go forth:
for if we flee away,
they will not care for us;
neither if half of us die,
will they care for us:
but now thou art worth ten thousand of us:
therefore now it is better that
thou succour us out of the city.

Psa 118:8 It is better
to trust in the LORD than
to put confidence in man.

to trust in the LORD
than to put confidence in princes.

Pro 21:9 It is better
to dwell in a corner of the housetop,
than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

it is better for him that
a millstone were hanged about his neck,
and he were cast into the sea.

cut it off: it is better for thee
to enter into life maimed,
than having two hands to go into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched:

cut it off: it is better for thee
to enter halt into life,
than having two feet
to be cast into hell,
into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Mar 9:47 And if thine eye offend thee,

it is better for thee to enter
into the kingdom of God with one eye,
than having two eyes
to be cast into hell fire:

1Co 7:9 But if they cannot contain,
let them marry:
for it is better to marry than to burn.

1Pe 3:17 For it is better,
if the will of God be so,
that ye suffer for well doing,
than for evil doing.
