And fear not them which kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul:
but rather fear him
which is able to destroy

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “both soul”.

Isaiah 10:16. Therefore shall the Lord,
the Lord of hosts,
send among his fat ones leanness;
and under his glory he shall kindle
a burning like the burning of a fire.
Isaiah 10:17. And the light of Israel shall be for a fire,
and his Holy One for a flame:
and it shall burn and devour his thorns
and his briers in one day;

Isaiah 10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest,
and of his fruitful field,
both soul and body:
and they shall be as when a standard-bearer fainteth.

Matthew 10:28   And fear not them which kill the body,
but are not able to kill the soul:

which is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.
