I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “Lay hold”.

Deu 21:19 Then shall his father
and his mother lay hold on him,
and bring him out unto the elders of his city,
and unto the gate of his place;

Deu 21:20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city,
This our son is stubborn and rebellious,
he will not obey our voice;
he is a glutton,
and a drunkard.

Deu 22:28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin,
which is not betrothed,
and lay hold on her,
and lie with her,
and they be found;

1Ki 13:4 And it came to pass,
when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God,
which had cried against the altar in Bethel,
that he put forth his hand from the altar,
saying, Lay hold on him.
And his hand,
which he put forth against him, dried up,
so that he could not pull it in again to him.

Pro 3:18 She is a tree of life to them
