I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “sorrows”.

Exo 3:7 And the LORD said,
I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt,
and have heard their cry
by reason of their taskmasters;
for I know their sorrows;

2Sa 22:6 The sorrows of hell compassed me about;
the snares of death prevented me;

Job 9:28 I am afraid of all my sorrows,
I know that thou wilt not hold me innocent.

Job 21:17 How oft is the candle of the wicked put out!
and how oft cometh their destruction upon them!
God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

Job 39:3 They bow themselves,
they bring forth their young ones,
they cast out their sorrows.

Psa 16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied
that hasten after another god:
their drink offerings of blood will I not offer,
nor take up their names into my lips.

Psa 18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me,
and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

anguish and sorrows have taken her,

O my lord, by the vision
my sorrows are turned upon me,
and I have retained no strength.

Hos 13:13 The sorrows of a travailing woman
shall come upon him:
he is an unwise son;
for he should not stay long
in the place of the breaking forth of children.
