I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ righteous”.

Mat 9:13 But go ye and learn
what that meaneth, I will have mercy,
and not sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous,
but sinners to repentance.

Mat 10:41 He that receiveth a prophet
in the name of a prophet shall
receive a prophet’s reward;
and he that receiveth a righteous man
in the name of a righteous man
shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

Mat 13:17 For verily I say unto you,
That many prophets and righteous men have
desired to see those things which ye see,
and have not seen them;
and to hear those things which ye hear,
and have not heard them.

Mat 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth
as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.
Who hath ears to hear,
let him hear.

Mat 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear
righteous unto men,
but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
