For I know thy rebellion,
and thy stiff neck:
behold, while I am yet alive with you this day,
ye have been rebellious against the LORD;
and how much more after my death?- Deu 31:27

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ my death”.

Gen 27:2 And he said, Behold now, I am old,
I know not the day of my death:
Gen 27:7 Bring me venison,
and make me savoury meat,
that I may eat,
and bless thee before the LORD before my death.
Deu 31:27 For I know thy rebellion,
and thy stiff neck:
behold, while I am yet alive with you this day,
ye have been rebellious against the LORD;
and how much more after my death?
Deu 31:29 For I know that after my death
ye will utterly corrupt yourselves,
and turn aside from the way
which I have commanded you;
and evil will befall you in the latter days;
because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD,
to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands.
