my life from me;

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ me to die”.

1Sa 28:9 And the woman said unto him,
Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done,
how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits,
and the wizards,
out of the land:
wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life,
to cause me to die?

Jon 4:3 Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee,
my life from me;
for it is better for me to die than to live.

Jon 4:8 And it came to pass,
when the sun did arise,
that God prepared a vehement east wind;
and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah,
that he fainted,
and wished in himself to die,
and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

1Co 9:15 But I have used none of these things:
neither have I written these things,
that it should be so done unto me:
for it were better for me to die,
than that any man should make my glorying void.
