I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “deadly”.

1Sa 5:11 So they sent and gathered together
all the lords of the Philistines,
and said, Send away the ark of the God of Israel,
and let it go again to his own place,
that it slay us not,
and our people:
for there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city;
the hand of God was very heavy there.

Psa 17:9 From the wicked that oppress me,
from my deadly enemies,
who compass me about.

Eze 30:24 And I will strengthen
the arms of the king of Babylon,
and put my sword in his hand:
but I will break Pharaoh’s arms,
and he shall groan before him
with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.
