‘discomfited’….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

Yea, he sent out his arrows,
and scattered them;
and he shot out lightnings,
and discomfited them. – Psalms  18:14

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “discomfited”.

Exodus  17:13  And Joshua discomfited Amalek
and his people with the edge of the sword.

Numbers  14:45  Then the Amalekites came down,
and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill,
and smote them,
and discomfited them,
even unto Hormah.

Joshua  10:10  And the LORD discomfited them before Israel,
and slew them with a great slaughter at Gibeon,
and chased them along the way
that goeth up to Bethhoron,
and smote them to Azekah,
and unto Makkedah.

Judges  4:15  And the LORD discomfited Sisera,
and all his chariots,
and all his host,
with the edge of the sword before Barak;
so that Sisera lighted down off his chariot,
and fled away on his feet.

Judges  8:12  And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled,
he pursued after them,
and took the two kings of Midian, Zebah
and Zalmunna,
and discomfited all the host.

1 Samuel  7:10  And as Samuel was

I was engaged in the computer field since 1977, particularly in Documentation, Desktop Publishing & Training field since 1986. The design work provided me creative satisfaction and motivated me to look for more challenging activities. I was having a taste for Technical Writing. Presently, My SME (Subject-Matter Expert) is "The Holy Bible (KJV)" and publishing the "Subject" from the Holy Bible only. I am 69 years old now and in HIS mercy. 2022, I was admitted in the hospital due to nervous attack and bed-ridden. In the Hospital they did all the tests and gave up and said it can't be cured. Due to circumstances I was in a Home for Elders in Gurugram, India for 18 months with a 24X7 attendent. I prayed to God YeHoVaH to give me death or life to live to HIS glory. My prayers were heard, I was given life. I came out walking from the Home and witnessing the work of God every day. I am able to move alone now, Weakness and the pain in the body remains. From June 2024 onwards I returned to my routine and reading Holy Bible, Preparing daily Bible understanding , as I did earlier but with two fingers in Android and Notebook. Watering the plants, making kitchen compost, repotting the plants with fertilizer, manures, cow dung; bathing and dressing myself but buttoning is not possible. Pray for everyone that lives in my physical condition to be strengthened. YeHoVaH be pleased.
