I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “hearing”.

Deu 31:11 When all Israel is come to appear
before the LORD thy God in the place
which he shall choose,
thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

2Sa 18:12 And the man said unto Joab,
Though I should receive a thousand
shekels of silver in mine hand,
yet would I not put forth mine hand
against the king’s son:
for in our hearing the king charged thee
and Abishai and Ittai, saying,
Beware that none touch the young man Absalom.

2Ki 4:31 And Gehazi passed on before them,
and laid the staff upon the face of the child;
but there was neither voice,
nor hearing.
Wherefore he went again to meet him,
and told him, saying, The child is not awaked.

Job 33:8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing,
and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

Job 33:9 I am clean without transgression,
I am innocent;
neither is there iniquity in me.

by the hearing of the ear:
