I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “his promise”.

Psa 77:8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever?
doth his promise fail for evermore?

Act 13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God
according to his promise raised
unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:

Act 13:24 When John had first preached
before his coming the baptism of repentance
to all the people of Israel.

Eph 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs,
and of the same body,
and partakers of his promise
in Christ by the gospel:

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack
concerning his promise,
as some men count slackness;
but is longsuffering to us-ward,
not willing that any should perish,
but that all should come to repentance.

2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we,
according to his promise,
look for new heavens
and a new earth,
wherein dwelleth righteousness.
