I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “against him”.

Mat 12:14 Then the Pharisees went out,
and held a council against him,
how they might destroy him.

Mat 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan,
he is divided against himself;
how shall then his kingdom stand?

Mar 3:6 And the Pharisees went forth,
and straightway took counsel
with the Herodians against him,
how they might destroy him.

Mar 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself,
and be divided,
he cannot stand, but hath an end.

Mar 6:19 Therefore Herodias had
a quarrel against him,
and would have killed him;
but she could not:

Mar 14:56 For many bare
false witness against him,
but their witness agreed not together.

Mar 14:57 And there arose certain,
and bare false witness against him, saying,

with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses,
durst not bring against him a railing accusation,
but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Jud 1:15 To execute judgment upon all,
and to convince all that are ungodly
among them of all their ungodly deeds
which they have ungodly committed,
and of all their hard speeches
which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast,
and the kings of the earth,
and their armies, gathered together to make
war against him that sat on the horse,
and against his army.
