I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “toward God”.

2Ch 24:16 And they buried him in the city of David
among the kings,
because he had done good in Israel,
both toward God, and toward his house.

Luk 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself,
and is not rich toward God.

Act 20:21 Testifying both to the Jews,
and also to the Greeks,
repentance toward God,
and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

Act 22:3 I am verily a man which am a Jew,
born in Tarsus,
a city in Cilicia,
yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel,
and taught according to the perfect manner
of the law of the fathers,
and was zealous toward God,
as ye all are this day.

Act 24:15 And have hope toward God,
which they themselves also allow,
that there shall be a resurrection of the dead,
both of the just and unjust.

by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not,
then have we confidence toward God.
