and beat upon that house;

Mat 7:27 And the rain descended,
and the floods came,
and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house;
and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Why are ye fearful,
O ye of little faith? Then he arose,
and rebuked the winds and the sea;
and there was a great calm.

Mat 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying,
What manner of man is this,
that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John,
What went ye out into the wilderness to see?
A reed shaken with the wind?

Mat 14:24 But the ship was now
in the midst of the sea,
tossed with waves:
for the wind was contrary.

he was afraid; and beginning to sink,
he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

Mat 14:32 And when they were come into the ship,
the wind ceased.

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels
with a great sound of a trumpet,
and they shall gather together
his elect from the four winds,
from one end of heaven to the other.

Mar 4:37 And there arose a great storm of wind,
and the waves beat into the ship,
so that it was now full.

Mar 4:39 And he arose,
and rebuked the wind,
and said unto the sea, Peace, be still.
And the wind ceased,
and there was a great calm.

Mar 4:41 And they feared exceedingly,
and said one to another,
What manner of man is this,
that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Mar 6:48 And he saw them toiling in rowing;
for the wind was contrary unto them:
and about the fourth watch of the night
he cometh unto them,
walking upon the sea,
and would have passed by them.

Mar 6:51 And he went up unto them into the ship;
and the wind ceased:
and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure,
and wondered.

Mar 13:27 And then shall he send his angels,
and shall gather together his elect from the four winds,
from the uttermost part of the earth
to the uttermost part of heaven.

Luk 7:24 And when the messengers of John were departed,
he began to speak unto the people concerning John,
What went ye out into the wilderness for to see?
A reed shaken with the wind?

and there came down a storm of wind on the lake;
and they were filled with water,
and were in jeopardy.

and awoke him, saying, Master, master,
we perish. Then he arose,
and rebuked the wind
and the raging of the water:
and they ceased,
and there was a calm.

Luk 8:25 And he said unto them,
Where is your faith?
And they being afraid wondered,
saying one to another, What manner of man is this!
for he commandeth even the winds and water,
and they obey him.

Luk 12:55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say,
There will be heat; and it cometh to pass.

Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth,
and thou hearest the sound thereof,
but canst not tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth: so is every one
that is born of the Spirit.

by reason of a great wind that blew.

Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound
from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind,
and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

we sailed under Cyprus,

and scarce were come over against Cnidus,
the wind not suffering us,
we sailed under Crete,
over against Salmone;

Act 27:13 And when the south wind blew softly,
supposing that they had obtained their purpose,
loosing thence,
they sailed close by Crete.

Act 27:14 But not long after
there arose against it a tempestuous wind,
called Euroclydon.

Act 27:15 And when the ship was caught,
and could not bear up into the wind, we let her drive.

Act 27:40 And when they had taken up the anchors,
they committed themselves unto the sea,
and loosed the rudder bands,
and hoised up the mainsail to the wind,
and made toward shore.

Act 28:13 And from thence we fetched a compass,
and came to Rhegium:
and after one day the south wind blew,
and we came the next day to Puteoli:

Eph 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro,
and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men,
and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Jam 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.
For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea
driven with the wind and tossed.

Jam 3:4 Behold also the ships,
which though they be so great,
and are driven of fierce winds,
yet are they turned about with a very small helm,
whithersoever the governor listeth.

Jud 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity,
when they feast with you,
feeding themselves without fear:
clouds they are without water,
carried about of winds;
trees whose fruit withereth,
without fruit, twice dead,
plucked up by the roots;

Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth,
even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs,
when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw
four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,
holding the four winds of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth,
nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

1Ch 15:22 And Chenaniah, chief of the Levites,
was for song: he instructed about the song,
because he was skilful.

1Ch 15:27 And David was clothed with
a robe of fine linen,
and all the Levites that bare the ark,
and the singers,
and Chenaniah the master of the song with the singers:
David also had upon him an ephod of linen.

1Ch 25:7 So the number of them,
with their brethren that were
instructed in the songs of the LORD,
even all that were cunning,
was two hundred fourscore and eight.

2Ch 29:27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer
the burnt offering upon the altar.
And when the burnt offering began,
the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets,
and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

Psa 69:12 They that sit in the gate speak against me;
and I was the song of the drunkards.

Psa 137:3 For there they that carried us away captive
required of us a song;
and they that wasted us required of us mirth,
saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

Ecc 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise,
than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Son 1:1 The song of songs,
which is Solomon’s.

Amo 8:3 And the songs of the temple shall be
howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD:
there shall be many dead bodies
in every place;
they shall cast them forth with silence.

Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb, saying,
Great and marvellous are thy works,
Lord God Almighty;
just and true are thy ways,
thou King of saints.

Seek unto them that have familiar spirits,
and unto wizards that peep,
and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God?
for the living to the dead?

Isa 14:9 Hell from beneath is moved
for thee to meet thee at thy coming:
it stirreth up the dead for thee,
even all the chief ones of the earth;
it hath raised up from their thrones all the kings of the nations.

Isa 22:2 Thou that art full of stirs,
a tumultuous city,
a joyous city:
thy slain men are not slain with the sword,
nor dead in battle.

Isa 26:14 They are dead,
they shall not live; they are deceased,
they shall not rise:
therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them,
and made all their memory to perish.

Isa 26:19 Thy dead men shall live,
together with my dead body shall they arise.
Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust:
for thy dew is as the dew of herbs,
and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Isa 37:36 Then the angel of the LORD went forth,
and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred
and fourscore
and five thousand:
and when they arose early in the morning,
behold, they were all dead corpses.

Isa 59:10 We grope for the wall like the blind,
and we grope as if we had no eyes:
we stumble at noonday as in the night;
we are in desolate places as dead men.

Jer 16:7 Neither shall men tear themselves
for them in mourning,
to comfort them for the dead;
neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink
for their father or for their mother.

Jer 22:10 Weep ye not for the dead,
neither bemoan him:
but weep sore for him that goeth away:
for he shall return no more,
nor see his native country.

Jer 26:23 And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt,
and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king;
who slew him with the sword,
and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.

Jer 31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies,
and of the ashes,
and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron,
unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east,
shall be holy unto the LORD;
it shall not be plucked up,
nor thrown down any more for ever.

Jer 33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans,
but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men,
whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury,
and for all whose wickedness
I have hid my face from this city.

Jer 34:20 I will even give them
into the hand of their enemies,
and into the hand of them that seek their life:
and their dead bodies shall be
for meat unto the fowls of the heaven,
and to the beasts of the earth.

Jer 36:30 Therefore thus saith the LORD
of Jehoiakim king of Judah;
He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David:

Jer 41:9 Now the pit wherein
Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men,

and cover not thy lips,
and eat not the bread of men.

at no dead person to defile themselves:
but for father,

or for daughter,
for brother,
or for sister that hath had no husband,
they may defile themselves.

Eze 44:31 The priests shall not eat of any thing
that is dead of itself, or torn,

which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt,

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “I destroy”.

Gen 7:4 For yet seven days,
and I will cause it to rain upon the earth
forty days and forty nights;
and every living substance that I have made will I destroy
from off the face of the earth.

Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be
that doeth any work in that same day,
the same soul will I destroy from among his people.

Jos 24:8 And I brought you into the land of the Amorites,
which dwelt on the other side Jordan;
and they fought with you:
and I gave them into your hand,
that ye might possess their land;
and I destroyed them from before you.

1Sa 15:6 And Saul said unto the Kenites,
Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites,
lest I destroy you with them:
for ye shewed kindness to all the children of Israel,
when they came up out of Egypt.
So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

Psa 118:10 All nations compassed me about:
but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

Jer 51:20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war:
for with thee will I break in pieces the nations,
and with thee will I destroy kingdoms;

Amo 2:9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them,
whose height was like the height of the cedars,
and he was strong as the oaks;
yet I destroyed his fruit from above,
and his roots from beneath.

Mic 5:14 And I will pluck up thy groves
out of the midst of thee:
so will I destroy thy cities.

Gal 2:18 For if I build again the things
which I destroyed,
I make myself a transgressor.
