And have not obeyed
the voice of my teachers,
nor inclined mine ear to them
that instructed me! – Pro 5:13

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “not obeyed ”.

Jdg 2:2 And ye shall make no league
with the inhabitants of this land;
ye shall throw down their altars:
but ye have not obeyed my voice:
why have ye done this?

Jdg 6:10 And I said unto you,
I am the LORD your God;
fear not the gods of the Amorites,
in whose land ye dwell:
but ye have not obeyed my voice.

1Ki 20:36 Then said he unto him,
Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD,
behold, as soon as thou art departed from me,
a lion shall slay thee.
And as soon as he was departed from him,
a lion found him,
and slew him.

Pro 5:13 And have not obeyed
the voice of my teachers,
nor inclined mine ear to them that instructed me!

Jer 3:13 Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God,
and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers
under every green tree,
and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the LORD.

Jer 40:3 Now the LORD hath brought it,
and done according as he hath said:
because ye have sinned against the LORD,
and have not obeyed his voice,
therefore this thing is come upon you.

Jer 42:21 And now I have this day declared it to you;
but ye have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God,
nor any thing for the which he hath sent me unto you.

Jer 44:23 Because ye have burned incense,
and because ye have sinned against the LORD,
and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD,
nor walked in his law,
nor in his statutes,
nor in his testimonies;
therefore this evil is happened unto you,
as at this day.
