‘respect unto’ ….. mentioned in the Holy Bible (KJV)

Hold thou me up,
and I shall be safe:
and I will have respect unto thy statutes
continually. – Psalms 119:117

I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “respect unto”.

Genesis 4:4 And Abel,
he also brought of the firstlings of his flock
and of the fat thereof.
And the LORD had respect unto Abel
and to his offering:

Exodus 2:25  And God looked upon the children of Israel,
and God had respect unto them.

Leviticus 26:9  For I will have respect unto you,
and make you fruitful,
and multiply you,
and establish my covenant with you.

1 Kings 8:28  Yet have thou
respect unto the prayer of thy servant,
and to his supplication,
O LORD my God,
to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer,
which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

2 Kings 13:23 And the LORD was gracious unto them,
and had compassion on them,
and had respect unto them,
because of his covenant
with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
and would not destroy them,
neither cast he them from his presence as yet.

Psalms 74:20 Have respect unto the covenant:
for the dark places of the earth are
full of the habitations of cruelty.

Psalms 119:6 Then shall I not be ashamed,
when I have respect unto all thy commandments.

Psalms 119:15 I will meditate in thy precepts,
and have respect unto thy ways.

Psalms 138:6 Though the LORD be high,
yet hath he respect unto the lowly:

Hebrews 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ
greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:
for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
