I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV,  the following verses were given in the context of “Moses was”.

Exo 2:11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.
Exo 2:21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.
Exo 16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses;
but some of them left of it until the morning,
and it bred worms,
and stank:
and Moses was wroth with them.

Exo 24:18 And Moses went into the midst of the cloud,
and gat him up into the mount:
and Moses was in the mount forty days
and forty nights.

Exo 40:35 And Moses was not able
to enter into the tent of the congregation,
because the cloud abode thereon,
and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

Num 7:89 And when Moses was gone
into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him,
then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him
from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony,
from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.

Num 16:15 And Moses was very wroth,
and said unto the LORD,
Respect not thou their offering:
I have not taken one ass from them,
neither have I hurt one of them.

Num 31:14 And Moses was wroth
with the officers of the host,
with the captains over thousands,
and captains over hundreds,
which came from the battle.

Act 7:20 In which time Moses was born,
and was exceeding fair,
and nourished up in his father’s house three months:

Act 7:22 And Moses was learned
in all the wisdom of the Egyptians,
and was mighty in words and in deeds.

Heb 8:5 Who serve unto the example
and shadow of heavenly things,
as Moses was admonished of God
when he was about to make the tabernacle:
for, See, saith he, that thou make all things
according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
