I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ effectual”.

1Co 16:9 For a great door
and effectual is opened unto me,
and there are many adversaries.

2Co 1:6 And whether we be afflicted,
it is for your consolation and salvation,
which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings
which we also suffer:
or whether we be comforted,
it is for your consolation and salvation.

Gal 2:8  (For he that wrought effectually in Peter
to the apostleship of the circumcision,
the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)

Eph 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister,
according to the gift of the grace of God
given unto me by the effectual working of his power.

Eph 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together
and compacted by that which every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part,
maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

1Th 2:13 For this cause also thank we God
without ceasing, because,
when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us,
