I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “ I will confess”.

Psa 32:5 I acknowledged my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Rom 15:9 And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy;
as it is written,
For this cause I will confess
to thee among the Gentiles,
and sing unto thy name.

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh,
the same shall be clothed in white raiment;
and I will not blot out his name
out of the book of life,
but I will confess his name before my Father,
and before his angels.
