I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “hire of”.

Deu 23:18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore,
or the price of a dog,
into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow:
for even both these are abomination
unto the LORD thy God.

Mic 1:7 And all the graven images thereof
shall be beaten to pieces,
and all the hires thereof shall be burned with the fire,
and all the idols thereof will I lay desolate:
for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot,

Jam 5:4 Behold, the hire of the labourers
