I am no preacher, but, am a prime sinner and living in this world in HIS mercy. For a sinner like me too, when I read “The Holy Bible” KJV, the following verses were given in the context of “took bread”.

Gen 21:14 And Abraham rose up early in the morning,
and took bread,
and a bottle of water,
and gave it unto Hagar,
putting it on her shoulder,
and the child,
and sent her away:
and she departed,
and wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba.

Mat 26:26 And as they were eating,
Jesus took bread,

this is my body.
