that the word of the LORD
by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled,
the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia,
that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom,
and put it also in writing, saying,
Est 1:2That in those days,
when the king Ahasuerus sat on the throne of his kingdom,
which was in Shushan the palace,
Est 2:3And let the king appoint officers
in all the provinces of his kingdom,
that they may gather together
all the fair young virgins unto Shushan the palace,
to the house of the women,
unto the custody of Hege the king’s chamberlain,
keeper of the women;
and let their things for purification be given them:
Psa 103:19The LORD hath prepared
his throne in the heavens;
and his kingdom ruleth over all.
Psa 145:12To make known
to the sons of men his mighty acts,
and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.
